Visuals resizing on their own after adjusting position

Hi,

A common problem in my reports.

When I shift visuals, they magically adjust their dimensions on their own. Is there a way to disable this?
Its incredibly frustrating, especially when I take a lot of time to align all my visuals neatly, only for them to constantly adjust their own dimensions.

Any assistance would be greaty appreciated.

If you would like to suggest  feature improvements, you may  vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . I am also having an issue where some of my screens (Quick Measures, conditional formatting) being cut off. I can see most other things fine.
