Unable to update app due to "Failed to publish app"

Hi,
Our team is facing issues trying to update the Power BI App.

I've published a dashboard via Power BI Desktop to our workspace

The report has been added via Content Tab and unhide it in the Audience Tab. After selecting "Update app", I keep getting "Failed to publish app".

log details:

I've tried this in another workspace and have no issues. This is the first time having an issue, as I have never experienced this.

Status: Delivered

Hi @MichaelYan

The reason customer is getting this issue is because they are adding more than 100 users . Microsoft engineers are increasing the limit to 1000.

The current solution is :  create 2-3 AD groups and divide 150 into these groups and then add the groups in the user list , you should be able to use the app .

Hi @MichaelYan

What is the difference between a workspace that can publish apps normally and a workspace that cannot publish apps normally ?

Hi!

Thank you for responding. Normally, we had no issues updating the app prior to the recent update. Everything went smoothly. (Ie. no errors)

A few days ago, we we tried to remove an exisiting report. However, we consistently recieved an error message "Failed to publish app". After some tinkering, it seems that it may be due to the audience size. We have an audience of over 150 viewers that rely on our reports.

With the new feature, we split this group into smaller sections and now our app is no longer visible and I cannot add it back in from the "Add app". We get Error: "Something went wrong - we couldn't load all the elements of the app"

New error for: " we couldn't load all the elements of the app"
