Unable to sign in while upgrading the on-premise gateway

Hi,

We have been upgrading our on premise gateway in the past by following the MS document and it was straight forward thing where we just need to run the exe file and it will update automatically.

 

However, for the June version, when i am trying to upgrade it asks for credential to sign in. I am not sure which credential, i I tried my email id and all other possible email ids which can be there, and all time it gives an error as browser authentication fails. I checked the IE installed in gateway server and have kept the security of IE to be medium, still it doesnt resolve the issue. previously it never asked for sign in. and each time it just asks for the email id and no password.

Anyone or MS can confirm this, how to fix this? I need to upgrade my gateway.

Please help to post detailed error message here. 

In addition, what account do you use to sign in app.powerbi.com? Use same account to sign in gateway during the upgrade process.

We contacted MS support and its seems with June upgrade of gateway some ips has been changed which needs to be added in organization firewall to use the azure gateway. They have given a ms doc for same. I am contacting network team to check if that resolves the issue
