Unable to select on-premisses data gateway

Hello!
I installed, configured, and linked the database to my on-premisses gateway.

But when I try to schedule the update of my datasets, the program does not allow me to select the data gateway (even though it's online).
How can I enable on-premisses data gateway selection?

Hi Herbert,

I do not think Test-NetConnection will work as our IT team configure our servers to not have direct Internet connections, all connections must go through our proxy server.

Test-NetConnection won’t work from our servers because it works at the TCP level, the cmdlet doesn’t use a proxy, & since it has no direct connection to the internet it will fail.

Note - we forced HTTPS mode for the PowerBI gateway for this reason.

The common cause of this problem is that the gateway doesn't have the data sources in the reports or the server names don't match. Please make sure all data sources used in your pbix file(You can see them from PowerBI desktop data source setting) are added into the gateway (Manage gateways on PowerBI portal).

I can confirm that all data sources are added to the gateway and that they are called the same.

Positive, all data sources are in the data source. I was able to select the gateway and schedule the periodic update. Now the problem is another. When you try to update, the following message is displayed:

Is the signed-in user who has configured the GW the same as who is trying to manage data sources via PBI portal?

I can confirm that I am the same user that has setup the BW and configured the data sources.

1. On-prem data gateway log
2. Fiddler trace on data source setting page
3. The report pbix file
4. Is the user using direct query and schedule refresh?
