This is still an issue.  The dataset that I'm using is shared via an Power BI app.  When I view the dataset in my Workspace and create a report in Power BI service, the data is up-to-date.  When I try to do the same, using the same dataset in Power BI Desktop, the data is out of date by over 1 year.  I now only have one dataset showing, I had two.  It shows refreshed in Power BI service, but hasn't been when I try a live connection from Power BI Desktop.
