May I know are you using Power BI Desktop for service or Power BI for Report Server? Could you please try the latest version and see whether you will still get such kind of launch issue?

@v-cazheng-msft I have Microsoft Power BI Desktop - 64 bit - June 22

Unfortunately I'm unable to download using the links due to onine downlaods being blocked by my company. My IT department have installed Microsoft Power BI Desktop - 64 bit - April 22 onto my laptop but when I installed Microsoft Power BI Desktop - 64 bit - June 22, it now doesn't open and I get the error message above.
