Unable to Set Mapped Field Names to Single Space Character in Table and Matrix
In older builds of Power BI Desktop you could change the mapped field names to " " and they would appear blank in table and matrix visuals.
Here's an example using June 2018 - 2.59.5135.781 build:

Trying to do this in the most recent build (August 2018 - 2.61.5192.601) changes the field back to its original name.

Hi exceptionull,
There was a bug in previous desktop where we allow the user to set white space/empty column names.. this has been fixed in the latest Power BI desktop. So what you got is expected in the latest desktop.

I was afraid you were going to say that :smileywink:
We had to use a bunch of different work arounds for a report we built to get it looking closer to something that was created in Excel, and this was one of them.
You can close this issue, I understand it was a bug.
