There is an issue with the new dark mode - you can't see the text when you expand Advanced filtering

Hi @Analyst-Rene 

This one belongs to the October version of the feature. Due to a previous release of the wrong version of the Microsoft app store, it caused PBI Desktop to automatically update some features that currently don't work well for it. So you need to uninstall the current version and go to Microsoft Download Center to download the installer and reinstall it.

dark mode bugged all my visuals, how do I get back to how I was?

@LucasAlcarde - I went back to light (legacy is also an optoion) in Options and Settings - Options - Under Global, Report Settings - Customize Appearance

How did you change your mode to dark mode? Is the problem occurring in PBI Service or PBI Desktop and can you describe your procedure in detail?

Hi @v-yetao1-msft - when I opened the new version of Power BI Desktop for the first time after it updated, I got a ‘New features' welcome splash-screen telling me that I can now customise my appearance and it then gave me the oiption to select dark mode, which I did. I have since gone into settings to change it back.
