Stacked Area Chart Sort is reversed from what is should be

When sorting a stacked area chart is PowerBI Desktop, the series' order and the legend order are always opposite to each other, whether you click Ascending or Descending. To make proper analytic use of this graph they need to be in the same order.PowerBI stacked area chart.png

Status: Delivered

Update:

This is a long standing limitation in Power BI Desktop and this is a planned item and should be complete by the fall of 2022, so please stay tuned.

And yes I'm using the latest version, and no there is no fix 1 year after it said this was going to be fixed. Please fix this problem.

Also it is not a limitation of the software, this is false. This fix is about as easy a task for a software producer to fix as you will ever see requested in these types of forums.

Thanks for the comments, Swooze1248. Yes, Microsoft needs to prioritise this issue higher, it is NOT fixed yet, if it is, please share instructions on how we can get this to work.
