Hi @DonalMc

How did you update your PBI Desktop ? Did you update it inside the Microsoft store or did you download the latest installer through Download Center to update it? Have you guys tried uninstalling the original program and re-downloading the installer to update it?

Hi @v-yetao1-msft

I switched to the store ages ago, so PBI Desktop gets auto-updated without my intervention.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (via the store) and the issue is still happening.

The version available in the Download center was the same as the one I was running (2.136.1202.0), so I did not bother with trying that.

I installed the August 2024 Version and this has fixed the issue.

Hi, @DonalMc

I had the same issue. I'm using a parameter as the URL for the database, which I named 'environment-url'. Everything worked perfectly at first, but then an error started to appear. I had to rename it to 'environmentUrl', and the error disappeared.

I'm not sure if it helps you but I was able to solve it for my case.

@Kralis - that fixed it!

I had a parameter called 'Dataverse URL'.

Changing it to 'DataverseURL' means the reports can now be refreshed on the latest version of PBI Desktop from the store.

Thank you
