Slider Circles or Paddles Disappearing on smaller zoom levels

Hi Team,

The paddles or circles that are on the slider bars are disappearing in broswers where the zoom level is decreased to levels anywhere between 50%-80%. The end-user can still type-in values, however the UI is diminished without the functionality working to slide the bar. Any way this can be adjusted to avoid this situation?

Hi @KyleWilliamsBMI,

Which browser do you use to view the report? Have you tried the Chrome browser?

Qiuyun,

We're using IE, Edge, Firefox and Chrome. In your visual it looks like you have quite a bit of height setup on the slider. Is the height of the visual itself the driving force as to whether those circles or paddles showing up?

Hi @KyleWilliamsBMI,

Would you please share a sample pbix file for us to test it?

Unfortunately I won't be able to, this is embedded and a tabular model. Would you be able to screenshare with me at some point?

Hi @KyleWilliamsBMI,

Would you please share some screenshots or video to clarify the issue?

Does the issue happen with embedded report? Please check if the same issue happens on Power BI service.

Best Regards,

Hi Microsoft -
To address your question re: if the issue happens on the Power BI service - yes, this happens on the power bi service at the same ratios for each browser as it does for the report pages embedded in the web app.

We are unable to require users to use only a single browser when viewing reports, per our clients' specifications

Here are some screenshots of the issue as experienced in Chrome - from the Power BI Service:
1) Chrome:
     a) Chrome at 75% = slider available
Chrome Good.png
      b) Chrome at 67% = Slider not available:
Chrome Bad.png

As mentioned in the original request, this issue occurs at a higher zoom level (80%) in Edge

Please let us know if Power BI is addressing this issue, or if we can be of further assistance in troubleshooting this issue.

Additionally - for what it is worth - slightly smaller slider circles for these responsive sliders would be much appreciated by the more space-conscious developers on our staff 😆
