Show next level arrow greyed out in matrix

Just today I realized that a lot of my reports are having a greyed out “show next level” drill down arrow on the top level of the hierarchy:

If I readd the columns to the row elements of the matrix it works again.
This appears to be a new bug and I am not sure if you aware of it.

Status: Investigating

Hi @Eliasaki92 

If you cannot reproduce this issue , it becomes very difficult to find the cause.  For the rest of the faulty matrix you can only update it manually for now. You can keep watching to see if the same thing happens subsequently.

I had the same issue and came here looking for a solution. Having found nothing I started to play around. 

Solution for me: and this is so stupid, but it did the trick: in the rows box on the visualizations tab, all I did was change the order of the fields. So for example Customer (upper level), Number (second level). I just swapped these. Right away the greyed-out double arrow became active.
Then I simply swapped the field (level) order again to the original one and the double arrow stayed active. 

That's it.
