Sharing: Export Power BI reports to PDF and PPT issue

Hi all,

I would like to share the solution of issue that occurs when we export Power BI reports to PDF and PPT.

[Symptom]

In Power BI service, when we export any reports to PDF and PPT, the message “Unable to export to PowerPoint/PDF” pops-out.

If we capture browser trace, we can find the error information points to password change. But the issue still occurs after we clear browser cache or use InPrivate/incognito mode to sign in Power BI service again to export reports to PDF/PPT.

[Solution]

We can subscribe any report to ourselves, then do “Run Now”. You can refer to this document to perform subscribe to report: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-report-subscribe

Once we receive the subscription email, export reports to PDF or PPT should be successful now.
