SharePoint refresh failure is back; was a service issue a few weeks ago, was fixed
Several weeks ago many SharePoint data sources failed to refresh both from within the desktop applicationand using a gateway with Error 400, Bad Request. The issue was listed on the support page. This appeared to be resolved as SharePoint data sources started refreshing again and the message disappeared from the support page, but this weekend the issue returned.

Hi ih,
Does the issued report get data from Sharepoint online or on-premise SharePoint? Which data source connector do you choose in Power BI desktop to get data?
Based on my test, if I get data from SharePoint online list via SharePoint online list connector in desktop, after publish the report to Power BI service, as long as we set credential for data source correctly, the dataset can be refreshed fine without any error.

I am using SharePoint 2010, on-premise, and connecting with SharePoint list. I get the same error when refreshing within the desktop as I do using an on-premise data gateway.
I am also having the same issue where I am not able to connect to a sharepoint library directly
