Score Sentiment Stopped working July 1, 2024

We have a report with Score Sentiment that has been successfully refreshing for many months, as of July 1st it stopped refreshing on both Desktop and Web with the following Error:

DataSource.Error: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'An internal error occurred.'
Details:
DataSourceKind=AIFunctions
DataSourcePath=AIFunctions
DataSourceKind.2=AdoDotNet
DataSourcePath.2=AI.Provider/

No change has been made to the report

@Anonymous  it appears more people are now facing the same problem. I am using Version: 2.131.903.0 64-bit (July 2024)

I'm also facing the issue from this July 2024, "Detect Language" & "Extract key phrases" are working fine. But "Score sentiment" is giving error.

My version is  2.127.1080.0 64-bit (March 2024).

I tried to download the latest version today (2024-07-16) from this link (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494) but showing the following error.

Can you guys provide a simple sample for reference? The environments I've created on my own don't always restore the problems you guys are having.

This issue started occuring in the Power BI Service on 07/15 for us.

One of our Corporate KPIs is tied to this data, please fix ASAP.

We are having the same issue with Score Sentiment failing. Had been working OK but we are now getting the same errors mentioned by others. Analysing a comment free text field where entries can be between 1 to 200 characters. The PBi report is unchanged from when it was working.

Hi, we started seeing same issue as at 17 July, till yesterday refreshes worked ok. Below is screen shot from PBI Service. Manual refresh of Power Querry screen shot attached too. Please can you provide update on the fix?

Microsoft as of last evening said they were still investigating.

i'm thinking about switching over to a python based sentiment scorer.
