The report shows the datetime when the dataset was refresehed even if the dataset refresh failed. I wouldn't expect that. I would expect the datetime when the dataset was succesfully refreshed.
This is what the report shows:
I would expect that 9/11/23, 9:18:58 AM would show up in the report.

By design, it's common for reports to display the date and time of the most recent refresh, regardless of whether the refresh was successful or not.
If you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
