Which map visual you have used in the report? What was the feature in the map when using the old format pane in Power BI?

In addition, since the new format pane is a preview feature which would not be perfect that you can use the old format to contain the fill feature and look forward to the December version which would be improved the new format pane feature.

Have reproduced it in my side. As the previous posted, since the new format pane is a preview feature that would not be perfect and have known issues, currently you can use the old format pane to use the fill color feature normally.

Power BI Desktop would be released in December version to address it that you can look forward to, thanks for your feedback and understanding for Power BI.
