Refresh error: WABI-NORTH-EUROPE-redirect.analysis.windows.net

Hello,

I'm facing automated refresh errors in a report I have. The error message is:

Cluster URI:WABI-NORTH-EUROPE-redirect.analysis.windows.net
Activity ID:4c600672-dd5f-429c-8eb0-5bb5e1f48f43
Request ID:8d86151f-5f22-4f09-9096-01ba68477466
Time:2018-07-28 09:31:21Z

All my data come from SQL.

Can you help, please?

Thank you

Hi @sofias,

Is the dataset refreshed before but failed currently? If all dataset settings and gateway are fine, this should be the know issue listed in Support page:

Hi @sofias!

Recently I had the same isuue. The problem was in my column with date type, but in query editor it was shown as string type. For PB Desktop it was fine, but for Service it was impossible to recognize the type of column. When I`ve fixed it, my dataset was refreshed.

I found the reason of error only when I left this one table with date in my test report, so the real error was shown in service instead of "WABI-EAST-blablabla error". So you can try deleting tables one by one and publish it, then try refresh dataset and you will find the reason.

Good luck!

Hello @v-qiuyu-msft and @Elizaveta,

thank you for your insights. In the meanwhile, this was resolved because it was due to the error @v-qiuyu-msft refered.

Hope this will not happen in the near future 🙂

Thank you again.
