PowerBI Service and Multidimentional Sass through Gateway

I am trying to connect to sass multidimensional cubes from Power Bi Desktop using the Power BI service through an enterprise gateway. This works fine if I am inside my network, but if I try remotely I get an Unable to Connect, "We could not connect to the Analysis Services server because the connection timed out or the server name is incorrect.".  If I try to connect to a SQL table remotely through the gateway it works fine.

Any Ideas?

Hi @v-haibl-msft

I have this issue too.

- I can see the cube in My Workspace via Power BI Desktop --> Get Data --> Power BI service.

- Then get the error when I try to load the data.

I was wondering if there is any update.

Thanks

Nick

Any update on this, we are facing the same issue (running July 2018 versions of OPDG and PBI Desktop)?
