Hi @patricktmcgraw,

1. Does the desktop installed from Windows Store or Download web page? 

2. Does the desktop can run before? Is there any change made in the machine recently? 

3. Uninstalling the Desktop application, and then delete all folders under:-

C:\Users\<<USER>>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\

Reboot your machine and then reinstall the latest Power Bi Desktop, and try opening it.
