Power BI does not start after Windows 11 update (We weren't able to connect to the model.)

Power BI does not start after Windows 11 updates:

- June 13, 2023-KB5027119 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2

- June 13, 2023—KB5027231 (OS Build 22621.1848)

I tried to reinstall Power BI from Microsoft Store and it didn't help.

Thank you,

Jeandro.

Hi @Anonymous

When you update the components of your Windows system, the components of PBI Desktop may be affected. If you reinstall Desktop through the Microsoft Store, you may not be able to run PBI Desktop properly due to missing files.
In this case, you can go to Download center to download the latest installation package and reinstall it, before reinstalling you need to go to Control panel to uninstall Desktop completely.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494

There are some minor differences between the downloads in different places, you can refer to the official documentation.

Thank you very much @Anonymous

That worked!

Also Windows Update had another one waiting this morning, maybe fixing what was broken yesterday:
