Power BI Slicer - Values are consolidated to one case (either upper or lower)

Hello,

I have noticed an issue with Slicer and filter cards. The value automatically transformed to upper/lower case and combined into a single value. For Example, my table has values SIVA and siva. The slicer/filter card either shows SIVA or siva, it doesn't show both values.

I'm experiencing this behavior in both Power BI Desktop and the Service.

I have the same issue with a financial model I am building. 

 

They clients systems records for example the first invoice as Q07033 and then another user might capture an invoice as q07033 - PBI is reading it as the item when it is not. They are unrelated. 

 

Would be ideal if PBI marked them as seperate items. Not sure how to get around this issue. Thanks.
