Power BI Report Server with Azure Application Proxy, "Edit in Power Bi Desktop" not working

I've configured Power BI Report Server with Azure Application Proxy. While using the app proxy URL, clicking "Edit in Power Bi Desktop" on a report opens Power Bi to this error and the report does not load.

I followed the steps in this doco: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/azure-application-proxy

Not sure if there is any further configuration required or if this is bug...

We are able to download the report, edit and reupload, but would be nice to have this working.
