Power BI PowerPoint Add‑in – Low Image Quality Snapshot

Hi Everyone,

I would like to report a persistent issue with the Power BI PowerPoint add‑in. The image quality generated by the add‑in—especially when using Public Snapshot or static image modes—is consistently blurry and far below an acceptable resolution.

This significantly affects presentation quality and undermines the purpose of using the Storytelling add‑in, as the visuals become unreadable when projected or shared with stakeholders.

Key issues observed:

  • Images appear blurred even when the original report uses standard 16:9 / HD layouts.
  • The resolution is noticeably lower than the same visuals viewed in Power BI Service.
  • No available settings allow users to control or improve export quality.

This problem is affecting our ability to use the add‑in for the intended function.
Could you please escalate this to the product engineering team and confirm if there is an active fix or upcoming improvement?
Perhaps consider option for better resolution or allow vector graphic format to make the use case more practical.

Same issue here. Image quality is very low despite changing the settings to "High Fidelity" and stopping image compression.
