We are in the process of migrating all our MDM sourced SSRS reports to Azure PaaS Tabular sourced Power BI Paginated Reports. We did implemented one report and published it to the power bi service under a premium capacity workspace. After publishing the report to the Power BI service and key in the credentials under Settings => Reports => Data Source Credential. The paginated report always uses these credentials but not the credentials from the log-in user. The DAX query always pass the user who authenticate the Data Source. Cannot configure the report so that the data on the report is based on the role/ security defined in the tabular model.
