Power BI GateWay for SharePoint - The credentials provided for the SharePoint source are invalid.

Hiya,

"Unable to update this data source's credentials. Invalid connection credentials."

Running in this error when trying to use the Windows Authentication Method for my own account, which has access to the relavent SharePoint site as an owner.

UserName and Password are correct, yet the issue persists.

Workaround is the manually refresh the related dataset and publish, but not ideal when I'm trying to automate!

    Hi Anonymous 

    Did you update your gateway to the latest one ? You can first update the gateway to the latest version, and then re-add data source, you can observe whether the same error will be reported again.
