Postgres connector imports timestamptz as Date/Time instead of Date/Time/Timezone

PostgreSQL has two timestamp types, timestamp and timestamptz, the latter of which includes time zone information. However, the Postgres connector included with Power BI imports both types as Date/Time values instead of mapping timestamptz to Date/Time/Time Zone, resulting in a loss of time zone information. This bug is reproducible in Import and Direct Query modes.

Hi @KKR_ISED ,

Does this problem only occur in the current version? Has this problem occurred in the past?
Would it be useful to roll back to a previous version as a temporary workaround?

Best regards.

Hi @Anonymous, this problem occurs in the previous version of PowerBI as well, so a temporary rollback would not help.
