Position and size of objects: Enter values in properties does not work

When I try to enter position or size of objects by typing the values in the properties (Height/Width/Horizontal/Vertical) it often does not accept my entries.
The border of the entry field becomes red and the object does not reflect the change although it is a valid change: The object will not be placed outside the canvas with the entered values.
This is proofed as I can manage to get the object where I want to place it by moving it directly with the handles and doing the fine-tuning with the up/down arrows beside the value entry fields.
Even then, the object sometimes does not follow, but leaving it and try again will finally work.

All in all: It is completely buggy at the moment.
I use a custom canvas size of 1920 x 1080, just to let you know. Maybe it is a problem with custom canvas size.

I already installed the latest Power BI desktop version today, that got the bug with the PowerApps visual fixed (Thanks for that)

Hi @matthiashh

So the issue you are asking is after you installed the latest version ?

I am experiencing the same issue, running Version: 2.114.864.0 64-bit (February 2023).

I am not using a custom canvas size, just the default 16:9 one.

While I have seen the issue appear in a range of positions on the canvas, the issue does appear to occur more frequently when if not for a previous change, the change that generates the error would cause the object to go outside the canvas (e.g. I have an object to the right of the canvas, I reduce the width, and then I try to increase the horizontal position). I keep a buffer of 5 px around the edge of my canvas, so I don't think there's any issues with it just bumping the edge of the canvas.

As you can see from the screenshot below, I'm trying to set a width of 590, and a horizontal position of 685, which should put the right side of the visual at 1275px, leaving 5 px before the edge of the page at 1280. The maximum width that it will accept is 555; I have recently moved the visual from a horizontal position of 725, so if it was still positioned at 725, a maximum width of 555 would be correct, but the horizontal position is actually 685.

As with @matthiashh, this issue can go away after selecting another object and then reselecting the original object. However, this isn't consistent, and sometimes I have to click back and forth multiple times for it to let me enter the valid values.
