[Performance Drop] - August update lower speed on pbi desktop

After August update i see a major drop performance when opening the .pbi file, when saving it and when using it.

Particularly it went from:

- 10-15 sec to open a file -> 5 min

- 20 sec to save the file -> 3/5 min

- In general is slower

Why is that? Can the new dax improvement be the culprit for lowering performance? how does it work? Is it like M-Intellisense?

My dashboard has over 140-200 measure and until now was working smoothly.

Hi @stenford23 ,

Sorry for the bad experience, there are many reasons why reports are slow to open, have you used the performance analysis tool to see which part is causing the problem?
I will continue to collect to see if there are other users with similar experiences to you so that I can give feedback to the PG team.
