Paginated report visual & Deployment Pipeline: compatibility

As already mentioned a number of times in the forums, you can deploy paginated reports etc, BUT paginated report VISUALS do not automatically swap their connection during deployment with its paginated report in the target workspace. They remain fixed.

Here are a few posts on this, but there are many more.

Helper II

It's not a feature, it's a serious flaw and it's not documentend anywhere that this is a limitation. It's a huge waiste of effort for people who invest time in a feature that Microsoft continuously promotes but doesn't work in enterprise solutions.

The ask is to make it deployable. It needs to be parameterized.

Hello @v-mengzhu-msft. Do you have any update on this issue? It looks like this has been out there for a while. This is desperately needed as paginated reports become more common. It's unfortunately not practical to deploy the paginated report to production ahead of the report that calls it. Please provide the timeframe for solution.
