Paginated Report Parameters set to null when "Select-All" is chosen and subscribing to report

We have a number of power BI Paginated reports that users need to subscribe to on email.

When we populate a report parameter and the user chooses, "Select All" for that parameter, runs the report (which works fine) and then tries to subscribe to that version of the report (null) comes through as the parameters on the report, not all values selected.

Hi @delmbi ,

If you have an existing subscription to a paginated report, and you want to update the parameters applied to the report, follow these steps.

  1. Re-render the paginated report with the new parameters.

  2. Open the Subscriptions page.

  3. Select Use current (rendered report) values.

  4. Select Save.

Best regards.

I am experienceing the same issue. When selecting all from the parameter for the subscription and using the rendered report values, that parameter is set to null. Following for resoluotion.

I am experiencing exactly the same issue. When I'm setting up a subscription for paginated reports all the parameters having (Select All) option selected are 'converted' to (Null) in subscription and as a consequence the subscription is failing, e.g.:

Parameter with (Select All):

@v-xiaoyan-msft : any advise hot to fix it or it should be fixed on Microsoft side?

Also been having this problem. It was fixed back in February but have reverted since then. It only happens when other parameters have selected all. If you select anything less than everything it lists them but selecting all will trigger a "null" parameter.

MurtoMan has posted a work around here : Solved: Email subscription settings shows Null parameter - Microsoft Power BI Community

but obviously this is a bug and needs fixing from Microsoft.

If others are having this problem, please vote at the top for the issue to be looked at, thanks.
