hi there,
I have an custom API with OAUTH2 implementation and it works fine when used in Excel or PBI desktop. It redirects properly and authenticates on both of them(Excel/PBI Desktop). But it fails when I publish the dataset to PBI Service and try to schedule that.
Dataset contains a simple MCode so that I can loop and trigger APIs with different date parameters.
Custom API is hosted in Azure App Services.
All works fine in PBI Desktop. But PBI service throws error while scheduling even for plain dataset with ODataFeed URL ( no mcode)
Authentication Method = oAuth2 and Privacy is Organizational.
Error Message:The OAuth authentication method isn't supported for this data source. Status Code :400.
Please help out .
Regards,
AMK
