PBI Service App Won't Update

Good day,

 

I tried updating a PBI app with some report changes. I recently tidied up the workspace and added a report I want to use. When I go to update the app, I select the report I want, enable its visibility, and rename it in the app for a more human-friendly shorter name. When I go to update the app, I receive the following error:

 

Something went wrong

Failed to publish app.

Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.

Please check whether turn on publish app in tenant settings .

Just today begin seeing the same issue. The error message doesnt show or help to resolve.
can someone please help explain what/why this is ocurring? Trying to publish/update the app but seeing the same issue. Have tried multiple times and browsers to see if that helps but to no avail. Thus; any help on how to solve would be greatly appreciated. 😞
