Same error here. It works properly before enabling the new preview features. But after enabling them, Power BI Desktop will not open again giving the same error as above
I haven't tried out suggestion by @lauritxi. Maybe some of the new preview features require the above .net version but I don't understand why the whole PBI Desktop will not start just because of enabling preview features. Does this mean the PBI Desktop and features have different system requirement?
I thought IE was dead until I had to be forced to upgrade it because of Power BI desktop
