Option to remove white margins when exporting to PDF

Till this day, this issue hasn't been resolved and there appears to be a lack of consistency.

I'm using PowerBI to make a report with a coloured background set in the canvas settings.

If I export this report using the desktop application, I get horrible white margins/borders that go all around the edges of the report.

If I export this report using the PowerBI through my web browser instead, it adds smaller white margins/borders on the top and bottom edge of the report only. Which is better...but just give us the option to remove them all together.

I saw a community post of this issue from a few years back and its disappointing to see this not being resolved to this day. In fact I even saw one comment mentioning that this was "by design".

I can understand your concern about this issue, and the Power BI product has been gradually making changes, except that the issue you mentioned is not supported by design for the time being.

If you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
