On-Premises Data Gateway does not install in selected region

Hi Fabric Community,

I have an issue when installing a new On-Premises data gateway to a specific region.  I select to create a new data gateway.  Seleect the region I want it to be available.  When it completes the install it is showing in my default region.  I've tried several different ways, but it still installs in my default region.

This is for the Power Platform for Power Apps and Power Automate.

Things I've tried.

Uninstalled the On-Premises data gateway soft ware, then reinstalled.

Removed the Data gateway from the default region

Configured a new data gateway selecting the region first.

An help would be greatly appriciated.

How did you change the region ? What region did you switch to? What region is the tenant you are in? You can refer to the official documentation for the operation of switching regions.
