New reference labels issues (november 2023)

I was testing the new Reference Labels for the new card visual, and while it looks great in general, I found a bothersome issue:

  • Number formatting options (decimal places) on reference lavel values are ignored both from the metric itself and even if we try to force them in the formatting options of the reference label:

  • In the same place, Display units for decimal values are also ignored (they seem to work with integer metrics)

Thank you for the new improvements!

I have the same issue. Tried in many other ways and still no progress. The reference label value format shows long number - the format cannot be changed and also ignores the field format. It worked some days ago but not anymore

Having the same issue here.

Not a solution so much, but what I've discovered is that the language used by your Power BI Desktop or the language setting of the Power BI Workspace have an impact (which it should not). We work both in english and french at our company. If the language settings are in English the formatting appears correctly, on the contrary if the settings are in french, then there is no format. As many others have stated above, we have tried many options including forcing formatting through, but it has no impact. This simply seems to be a bug with the new feature.
