New Matrix Visual Auto-resizing even with option off

Hi!

 

I tried everything: On, off, manually changing column sizes.

The columns resize even when I change and back to a tab.

 

Here an example. The first has the columns expanded, but as soon I change to a tab and get back here they shrink like the second one.

This issue persists in 2024.

I have a text column in several matrix visuals which resizes itself upon data refresh despite the "auto resize" option being off. It happens in all the visuals. After refresh the column extends off to the right beyond the visual border and creates a scrollbar, so you have to scroll to the right within the matrix visual to grab the column header and pull it back to resize.

The column is a measure, I wonder if that has something to do with it.

This is a report for management and they do not like that all the visuals break and become ugly and unreadable after every data refresh until I go back in and fix it, which is obviously unsustainable.
