March 2025 Update - Error fetching data for this visual

Hi,

After the March update (Version: 2.141.1253.0 64-bit (March 2025)), almost all of the visuals are showing errors.

Here is the prompt when clicking "See details":

Error fetching date for this visual

An expected error occured (file " , line , function ").

Hope this issue be reverted soon.

I had the same issue running in HyperV - to solve it - uncheck the Compatibility setting in the properties of the VM. I am guessing this has something with a different (limited) instruction set not specifically ARM.

Disabling HyperVisor in parallels does not fix it for me.

Hi everyone, how are you doing? I’m facing a similar problem to what some people have described here in Power BI: Scenario: I have the same Power BI file running on two computers: Notebook Lenovo Gaming 3i (i5-11300H) — works perfectly fine with the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Production computer with Pentium Gold G6405 — shows errors in visuals. Issue: On the production computer, when I apply a relative date filter (for example, filtering the earliest date in an interval), some visuals return an error and don’t load properly. On the notebook, everything works fine with the exact same PBIX file.

Still the same problem: Apple M4 Pro - 15.5 (24F74) Parallels Desktop 20 20.4.0 (55980) Windows 11 Pro 26100.4652 Power BI Desktop Version: 2.145.1105.0 64-bit (July 2025) 32 bit version is not a solution because it is much too tedious to work with, plus further development ends this month Downgrading is also not an option, as reports from versions newer than February 2025 were processed and cannot be opened with the old version now
