March 2025 Update - Error fetching data for this visual

Hi,

After the March update (Version: 2.141.1253.0 64-bit (March 2025)), almost all of the visuals are showing errors.

Here is the prompt when clicking "See details":

Error fetching date for this visual

An expected error occured (file " , line , function ").

i have the same issue. We already proof that any dashboard or page that filters through relative dates fail. We are going to downgrade to February 2025 version until this is fixed

Same issue. Incredibly frustrating. Now I have to go back to the IT team and tell them to download an older version.

I don't see this in the list of Known Issues for PowerBI. Does anyone know if this is being worked on?

@willmasse I've had a ticket open with Microsoft since this issue started. You are correct. It is not in the list of known issues, but they are aware of it and are working on it from what they've told me. This issue has moved to the core development team to find a resolution. I agree this should be on the known issues list. The only reason they may not put it on there is because they believe they have a solution that will be released soon although it does still exist as a major issue today.

Same issue here; also using ARM64 machine - had to reinstall old February 2025 64bit version which fixes the issue so definitely issue with March 2025 update.

Was hoping the April 2025 would fix this issue - but it does NOT! Version: 2.142.928.0 64-bit (April 2025) has the same issues on ARM processor - so I advise stick to the February version! Hope Microsoft fix this ASAP!

Wow that’s crazy. I have dead reports and everytime I need to update power bi I need to put in a ticket with my helpdesk. I’ve put that off in hopes April will fix it. Absolutely insane this is still happening for two updates straight.

@tbuck what's the status of your open ticket please? Is there any way we can +1 the ticket to help increase its priority?

@Stinkys I sent them a note last week asking for an update but haven't heard back yet. I assume it is a bigger issue than they thought. Considering everything is moving to ARM one would think this would be top priority.

@tbuck I would suspect the user base currently is quite small and I am concerned this has been put in the "not important right now" basket - especially considering the issue is still not listed on the Known Issues register: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/known-issues/fabric-known-issues Do you know if the ticket has made it past level 1 and onto the desk of someone with autonomy to fix it?
