Make data labels visible when inside a bar/column on all bar/column chart types

Currently, data labels are made visible when inside a bar/column in a 'line and stacked column chart' and in a 'line and clustered column chart', as shwon in the below screenshot:

This feature doesn't work for other bar/column chart types such as 'stacked bar chart', 'clustered column chart', etc. See below screenshot:

Can you please add this feature to all bar/column chart types?

I’ve got response from the Product Team.

 

By Design for now. Combo charts use a "background" shaded pill to differentiate column data labels from line data labels. Regular column charts do not have this background shading. However, we are adding this feature for Jan 2018 (hopefully - it is in progress). User can enable data label background shading manually once this feature ships.
