'Maintain layer order' property of a visual does not serve its purpose any more.

Today I discovered that all of my published reports suffer the same issue.

'Maintain layer order' property is specified for the report visuals. Nevertheless, the layer order is not maintained.
Any visual pops up to the front from the bottom of a layout each time the visual gets focus.

 

A few days ago everything worked as it should, but now it is impossible to maintain visual's layer order.

I submmitted a ticket to MS support. Here is a reply:

With regards to your issue we checked with our PG team and as per the PG team update they created a bug ticket for this issue and it will get fixed by 1st August.
