Mailchimp connector - signin hangs

Hi,

I am trying to use the mailchimp connector but can not get any further than the signin. When clicking signin I get a javascript error 

Error: Expected "." 

Url: "https://login.mailchimp.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=xxx&response_type=code&redirect_url=https%3A%..."

And although I can continue running scripts and the login popup shows, after entering I will get another javascript error and the login hangs indefinitely.

Error: 'ga' is undefined

I have been in contact with mailchimp, but they can't see anything special in the loginprocess that would cause this on their side. It obviously has something to do with how the loginpage is shown/used inside the PowerBI client but how can I get passed this? Has anybody had this issue before?

The fix is not working, it was already in place.

I also checked the regkey and found the same: it is already there. 

Any other suggestions? Or will the mailchimp connector be dropped from the available connectors?

Hi @Anonymous I know this reply is very late lol. Since there’s no built-in connector for Mailchimp to PBI anymore, you'll have to explore another way. As a workaround, maybe you can use a 3rd party connector, it can save you a lot of time compared to other options. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics (which doesn't have PBI as a destination, so you first have to export to Google Sheets and then export to PBI) and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Mailchimp connector in the data sources list:

After that, you will have to first create a secret API key in your Mailchimp account and then using your credentials add your account to the platform.

Once you’ve done this, you can proceed and go to the “Preview and destination” step

There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
