Loading state of visual disappears with dark header

Hi,

I'm currently working on a theme that I would like to submit to our internal BI Community as a standard for our dashboards.

One thing I'm struggling with is that I want visual headers to have a background of color #0483C (dark green) and when I refresh visuals, the rolling balls that shows a visual is loading are really hard ot see.

I was wondering if there is a way for me to make them as a lighter color like #BBC406 (lime) or even #ffffff (white)?

I was able to change the slicers eraser and drop-down arrow aspect to be white using the 8th color, but it didn't change the rolling balls during refresh.

Status: Investigating

Hi @FireFighter1017,

Not quite clear about your issue. Could you please make it clearer? Do you want to make changes to the color of the rolling icon on the visuals they are refreshing?

Yes, when a visual is updating its data after a drill-down or a refresh, there are some balls rolling in the upper-left corner of that visual.

Sometimes, the service gets slow and users may complain that the data is not loading but in fact, it is loading.  They just can't see it with the dark header.

Here's an example with a white header:

Now here's that same header with a dark green background applied:

You can barely see the balls above the "R" of "Reactive".

This is particularly problematic when users are requesting complex queries with only a few filters applied.

We know we have some optimization to do, but it would help to know if the visual is struggling to load or if it's just bad data.  I wouldn't want to have to open it in Desktop and use the performance analyser each time because users can't see it is still loading.
