Keep formatting (e.g. dollars, percents, decimals) in XLSX export from PowerBI.com

Currently, it seems that XLSX export of tables from PowerBI.com does not keep the formatting that's visible on the page. In the resulting XLSX, you lose dollar signs, percents, decimal places, commas, etc. This is frustrating for people who want to then share this data with others, because they have to manually put the formatting back in.

This problem is specific to measures created in the PBIX. Any field taken directly from the model will export with the correct formatting, but not measures.

Thank you!

It seems to work fine for me. Republish report using the latest version of Power BI Desktop and create a support ticket for assistance if necessary.

Same problem here when using Power BI Desktop May 2022, and publishing to our own PBI service. When I click once on the matrix, then on the 3 dots "More", then Export Data, numbers exported to an Excel file show all decimal places while the numbers in PBI report show 2 decimal places.
