Hello everyone,
I'm encountering a recurring issue when exporting data from Power BI reports within the Microsoft Teams desktop application. Here's what's happening:
I open a Power BI report in Teams using the desktop app.
I select a visual and choose "Export data" to Excel.
The first export works as expected: I receive a confirmation popup stating the file was downloaded successfully, and the file appears in my local Downloads folder.
However, if I attempt to export data again during the same session, the confirmation popup appears, but no file is downloaded, and the file doesn't appear in the Downloads folder.
To perform another export, I have to completely close and reopen the Teams application. After restarting, the first export works again, but subsequent exports fail as described.
This issue is specific to the Teams desktop app. When I access the same report via the Power BI web service or Power BI Desktop, I can export data multiple times without any problems.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior? Is there a known workaround or fix?
