Issue signing in to SharePoint

Trying to access a SharePoint site and receiving error message regarding credentials.

When trying to sign in to SharePoint, the sign in window opens and closes immeidately, not allowing me to sign in.

I have web2 installed.

Please help!

May I know what’s the version of your Power BI Desktop? Which connector are you using to do the connection?

In addition, please try this workarounds.

1 Clear permissions for the SharePoint data source in Data source settings if you connected to it before and try to sign in again

2 Enable or disable these two option in Preview features of Power BI Desktop Options

3 Try with an older version Power BI Desktop

Hi Caiyun, sorry for the late reply.

I've tried your suggestions but no luck unfortunately... I caught up with my IT team, and looks like a permissions issue with the workstation (instance) our power bi desktop is hosted on.

My colleagues are able to connect, but I do not ave an option to use my 'Organisational Account' credentials. I only have the option to use 'Microsoft Account' and when I try to sign in, I receive an error window in power bi desktop saying 'Access is denied'.

If you have any suggestions to make it possible for me to use organisational account credentials, that would be greatly appreciated.

We are using Version: 2.100.1401.0 64-bit (December 2021) - no issues for my colleagues so I don't think the version is the issue, but open to hear about how it could be!
