Image URL issue - not working at slicers

Hello all,

I have an issue with Power BI with displaying Image URL - simply, it is not working for slicers.
For *.jpg or *.png (small) images I created a function used base64 and I used the function to receive a column with the data. You can also see that the data category is the Image URL.

I use exactly the same field for tables and sliders (jpg images or png images), but I am able to see them only in tables. In slicers I didn't find any possibility how to see the pictures. Can you please give advise me?

I am using Power BI Desctop version: 2.103.881.0 64-bit (March 2022)

Status: Investigating

Hi , @MFMF

I tested the scenario you describe, put the field containing the image URL into the slicer and everything looks fine . Can your corresponding URL be opened on the web page normally ?

Hi,

I think there has been a misunderstanding here. You are using https address (which is also no issue to show on my side) and I am using images base64 transformation - my images are not stored as a https address.

I cannot show you the example of images because the lenght is 24000 characters and there it is limited to 20000. But my pictures start like: data:image/png;base64, following by code itself (you can see it on pictures above)

Best regards,
MFMF
