ISSUE+SOLUTION::published report Fabric datasource not accessible by admin user who created all

Status: Investigating

Hi @Element115 ,

Based on the above information, this issue is complex which may need to collect log files for further troubleshooting. Since community support engineers don't have that access, I would suggest opening a Support Ticket. If you are a Power BI Pro or Fabric licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.

@v-xiaoyan-msft I did open a support ticket the very same day and the next, while talking with a support engineer, he asked if he could close it because (1) there seems to be a workaround, and (2) Microsoft is aware or something. He further said he will make sure to pass the info along to the product team. Come to think of it, funny he didn't ask for any logs.  He seemed in a real hurry to close the ticket though.

Forgot to add... in the data source connection dialog, one needs to relogin using OAUth 2.0 to solve the issue, using the same creds as the ones of the user already logged into Fabric.
