ISSUE - Cannot Update App

Hi,

As of today I receive the following error when trying to update existing Power BI apps:

 

Something went wrong

Failed to publish app.

Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.

Fix for the issue has started to be deployed and it will be completed for all regions/clusters on 8/18. For UK south, the scheduled date is 8/12. Please be patient for the fix. Thanks for your understanding!

May I know whether you still have this issue? What is your role in the workspace that this app was created? According to the design, workspace admins and members can update app. For Contributors, if the admins allow, they can update the app. For more details, you could refer to Roles in the new workspaces in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

 

In addition, if you clear your cookie/cache and try again, will you update it successfully? If you try with other browsers, will it be successfully?

we have the same issue as well. This happened yesterday. same error meesage

Looks like the bug has been identified, however, my cluster is not listed (uk-south) and having to wait 2 weeks for a fix is a joke.
